Team Country Corners Arctic Cat from Ontario Canada competed in the Finke Desert Race in Australia June 8-9, 2014 as the first team to race an Arctic Cat Wildcat X 1000 in this event. Not only did Driver Scott Darling and Navigator Drew Wilson finish this grueling 452 km (280 mile) desert race in their Wildcat X, they did it using just one drive belt throughout the grueling 2 day event. A new EPI Performance Severe Duty Belt was installed before the start of the race and upon inspection after completing day one, it was decided to leave that belt on the unit for the remainder of the race. Driver Scott Darling noted that the belt looked in great shape and the Wildcat X was running strong so they decided to leave that belt on rather than install the spare EPI belt they had planned to run on day 2.

Upon finishing the full 452 km race, the belt still looked great and performed flawlessly. Team Country Corners provided EPI with the attached photo of the EPI Severe Duty Belts, commenting that they were impressed at how well the EPI Performance belt performed over 452 km’s of extreme, high speed abuse and offered to return the unused spare belt!

EPI Performance is proud to be a sponsor of Team Country Corners Arctic Cat and we appreciate the opportunity to provide the EPI Performance Severe Duty Belt – The Original Severe Duty Belt for ATVs/UTVs/Snowmobiles!
